Such is the pleasure of working with Kirsty that whenever we meet at Studio 73 we kilter way off the art of talking about art and chat many things Brixton. Her style is free, yet engaging and really does reflect the noise of Brixton. In many respects Kirsty is Brixton, she is entitled to capture the energy as she is a part of it.
Armed with sketchbooks and journals since 2007, Kirsty studied in Visual Arts at Camberwell 2012-2014 where she was introduced to the printmaking technique of etching;
‘Colour and Line are of continual interest to me. Capturing my surroundings through drawing, painting and printmaking is what I enjoy most’
