Picking up a 110 Kodak film camera in 1983 and making good the Symonds Yat Valley upon film whilst on a school trip, I have always loved the medium of photography to capture the everyday in unique ways. Many moons later, after photographing circa 200 weddings in the London area, I have gravitated back toward landscape/views without folk!  Having grown up on the borders of the Lake District,  I was consistently hindered by my inability to take a landscape shot to be proud of. I am focused on balancing the books as, which I hope my portfolio demonstrates. Oh, and finally, I really like my work. 2024 51+!

Cannot quite put my finger on why I enjoy working with sheets of glass and a long lens’d camera. Maybe that; It quietens things down a little. We need more calm. Madly drawn to fast moving stuff. So I Love focusing on the intricate, a visual quiet I propose.
