SOUND PROJECT

 

Welcome to a brand new project showcasing sound, in all of its form.

A primary function for Sound Project is to broadcast conversations between Studio 73 and the Artists that we work with, be it ahead of an exhibition or perhaps with fresh news to bring to us.

The conversations are informal and are uploaded pretty much as recorded. We want to take on a minimalist means to broadcasting with our recordings, there doesn’t want to be too much noise pollution. Non of this ‘Subscribe Like’ chattle.

I welcome you to supply a minute of curated sound.

Subject Matter?

Wide open.

The sounds of the trees, of scrapings, the sound of the foot soldiers approaching Brixton tube, or A conversation or a monologue, PR or the profound!

This wants to be a project of inspiration, it wants to be something that you could play in the background as you get on with your daily callings.

John Workman ‘In Conversation’

The Claude Lorrain Experience, an exhibition of mixed media paintings by John Workman, opened on Thursday 15th May and ran in Gallery 2 until Sunday 1st June.
