Sampled History (Brixton) by Jaykoe

The research for the body of the work is sampled, sequenced and composed to form a piece that recognises the context of the Brixton Riots. The uprisings cannot be considered without an attempt to understand the history behind them. The inclusion of the sampler references an experiment with techniques used in audio sampling, translating them to the visual realm.
