Description

Friends of the Galleries 2026 – Open Call

A2 The Only Requirement

Studio 73 and the Transformation Gallery invite artists from anywhere in the world to submit to this year’s Friends of the Galleries group show. Any medium, any subject. The only requirement: your work must fit within A2 (594 × 420 mm), including frame, mount and anything that wraps around it.

The exhibition

• Friday 27 November – Sunday 13 December 2026
• Arch 18, Valentia Place, Brixton
• Open Friday to Sunday, 12pm–7pm
• All work will be for sale

Entry fee

£7 for one piece, £10 for two, £13 for three, and so on up to five. Choose how many pieces you’re entering above.

Your entry fee goes towards the costs of putting on the show and supports two independent galleries as we continue to develop our new space at Arch 18, with plenty more exciting things on the way. Thank you for being part of it.

Key dates

• Submission deadline: Thursday 12 November
• Selected artists notified: Friday 13 November
• Hand-in: Saturday 14 or Sunday 15 November at Arch 18
• Posted and international work must arrive by 23 November

International entries: the artist is responsible for sending their work to us and for arranging and paying for its return. See the Post Office guide to posting internationally.

How to submit

After checkout, email friendsofthegalleries@gmail.com with your order number and, for each piece: an image, title, medium, dimensions (including frame) and sale price.

Hanging

Work must arrive ready to hang, with all fixtures and fittings. Unframed prints are welcome, but please be happy for them to be pinned directly to the wall.
