Josie Blue Molloy is a London-based artist and printmaker producing work from her studio in Woolwich.
The Bauhaus, Ben Nicholson and Barbara Hepworth have all influenced Josie’s work, as have the changes between light and shadow in rural and urban environments.
Within her prints, Josie tries to create movement, like the movement of sun light by using fluid brush strokes and layers of transparent colour. Her work is bright, energetic and playful. All of her prints at Studio 73 have been made by hand by Josie in her studio.
